Villa Dagmar is an intimate boutique hotel in the heart of Stockholm and sister property to Hotel Diplomat. Together with Studio Berg, we refined and developed the identity, building on an earlier creative vision and shaping the brand across every part of the hotel.
Villa Dagmar is an intimate boutique hotel in the heart of Stockholm and sister property to Hotel Diplomat. Together with Studio Berg, we refined and developed the identity, building on an earlier creative vision and shaping the brand across every part of the hotel.
Named after Dagmar Bergsten from the family behind the hotel, Villa Dagmar draws inspiration from her home in Båstad, an eclectic gathering place for friends and family in the 1920s and 30s.

In shaping the brand story, we looked to strong women from Dagmar’s time and the vibrant cultural world of the early 20th century. Karin Larsson, Sonia Delaunay and Hilma af Klint became key references, each representing a spirit of creativity, intellect and modernity.

Art continues to play an important role at Villa Dagmar today. The hotel is a living space for contemporary art, with exhibitions and collaborations bringing new perspectives into the house and allowing the cultural story to keep evolving.
